Fantastic meal tonight. My wife and I both ordered New York Strips and they were cooked to perfection! Excellent food, impeccable service and great atmosphere. Joe (Manager) ran a great restaurant and we look forward to returning soon!

Pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place was. Been 2 times and the service was absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful and the food amazing. First time had an excellent steak and this time I tried the Salmon and it was wonderful as well. Both servers were so pleasant and made the experience so great. We will be back for sure. So happy we finally have a place to have a nice meal in the Flathead.

Totally a great experience. Will forsure let people know about this place. The creamy beefy mushroom soup was perfect and my filet mignon was cooked to perfection.

The Winchester House one of the most expensive steaks I've ever eaten $40 a plate and it was cooked wrong never saw our waitress except to take the order and bring the bill

Probably the best Steakhouse as far as food goes that I have visited. Most Texans are particular about "meat." I'm no exception. The aging and rubbing of the steaks prior to hitting the grill is noticeable in the flavor and tenderness they show. I'd stop again for certain!

Me and some buddies were out of town had decided to stop and have a steak. The wait was a bit long but well worth it in the end. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Stayed in this area in June, when asking locals where to eat, this is the place they suggested and I am glad they did. I was with a group of 6 guys, we all had the steak and all of us STILL talk about it. One of the best meals we had on a 10 day road trip. If you like beef and cold beer, this is a must in the area.

I've been here a few times and this last time I noticed that their plate presentation and service has really improved and more of a fine dining feel that it didn't have before. Big improvements!

We had a great time.. two nights in a row. Noel is the bomb for great service. Joe is a great manager!! All that and just want to say the food was amazing both nights.. if I was not headed back to Florida tomorrow I would go again.. try the halibut- pork chop or filet were all amazing.

Very good filet mignon. Tender and cooked perfectly. The cream potatoes were also amazing.

I usually love this steak house with nothing but rave reviews, but this one time it makes me wonder what in the world happened to the cook. My husband got the prime rib which was just "okay" and I got the Cajun shrimp penne pasta which was totally blah. There was supposed to be a parmesan in side this cream sauce, but the cook forgot it and the bowl was filled with so much heavy cream that it took the spicy seasons of Cajun and made it a mellow flavor. The shrimp had all of it tails on it which made it hard to eat as well because there was so much cream sauce that it kept splashing out and getting all over the place. I found myself having to add salt to make the whole dish taste better which is sad for such a nice restaurant which I usually tell everyone is one of my favorite places to eat in town. I still love Winchester which is why I give 3 stars, but I hope the new cook gets his menu figured out.....

Wife and I stopped to eat lunch while traveling and had a great time. Try the chips, they are the best. Great service and very fast.

Came here as a recommendation. This place is so good, a little different inside vs other stake houses. The only thing my steak was more pink when ordered well done. The mac and cheese that I got was average, didn't taste homemade. I would eat here another time. Our servers name was Pete. He was very nice and very informative and gave up dates ie the kitchen wad backed up, he needed to take another order but still greeted us. It wad very late and could tell he was a hard worker.

Jalepeno poppers arent even jalepenos. $5 to load your baked potato. Side salad exceeded expectations. Super drunk loud guy in the bar ruined the atmosphere. But their steak was damn good

A very cozy steakhouse (I've grown up with the arena-sized Angelo's down here in Florida's Gulf Coast area) with a nice, quiet atmosphere and well-done meals. Now, this was after a few missteps with our hostess who could not read the social cues my father was practically blaring out that he did not want to be seated by the kitchen entrance. After threatening to go down the street to their competitor, we got a nice table in a corner on the far side of the premises, and everything went up several notches. Succulent main dishes, a beef and vegetable soup appetizer made with quartered PRIME RIB, and quickly refilled drinks... what could one ask for more? Well, one could ask for the butter pats to be allowed to defrost before being served, but that seems to be a mental block for most restaurants no matter how good.

It's an excellent place to have a great steak without a doubt. However it is on the pricier end.

Steak was good. We received two bites of cold vegetables. If you wanted a potato you paid more for it. For what we received it was expensive. Don't plan on going back

Delicious place to eat! Not cheap at all but to be expected for the quality of the food and service. Had the buffalo and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Overcharged, no prime rib, and not even one apology. Was recommended by a friend, but will not be coming back.

In town from Arkansas and stopped in for dinner tonight. The food was amazing and terrific service. Joe, our server was very professional and took great care of us throughout the night. At the end of dinner the head chef came out to talk to us to make sure we were pleased with our meal. A place that is definitely on my list to come back to and recommend to others. A must visit place!
